Tan Advice
Before treatment
The evening before your treatment, exfoliate your entire body. Pay special attention to dry areas of your body such as hands, elbows, knees and feet.
Skin should be free from self tan, perfume, deodorant and aromatherapy oils as these can act as a barrier, or turn your spray tan green which will reduce the end results. Waxing or shaving should be completed at least 24 hours prior to the treatment. Wear dark, loose fitting clothing, sandals or flip flops.
The treatment
The treatment takes up to 15 minutes but you will have to allow extra time to prepare and dress. The spray tan mist will dry on your skin in just a few minutes so you can dress straight after the treatment. Avoid touching or rubbing the applied tan once the treatment is completed.
After Treatment
Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 2 hours after your treatment, leave for at least 6 hours or overnight for maximum results. Do not participate in any activity which may cause perspiration for at least 12 hours after the treatment.
The guide colour can be left on overnight although it may transfer onto bed linen. It will wash out of cotton, but not so easily from man-made fibers or wool.

If you are planning for a wedding set the session at least 24 - 48 hours prior to the wedding date to give the treatment a chance to fully develop. When you know the exact number of people get in touch with us and so we can determinet the exact time frame and number of our team that will be present. Our mobile service may charge a travel premium if you are outside our travel radius but remember this is a premium service.
Send out Invitations
Gather the addresses or email address of everyone that you want to invite to your spray tan party. Select a fun invitation, or evite, and include all the details of the party, such as time, date, address and and pre/post tanning instructions. Tanning instructions typically include; what to wear, when to exfoliate, and how to maintain the tan. We will provide specific pre and post spray tan instructions via email so you can include this in your invitation.
Your Home Set-Up
Make sure you have a designated area that you will want the spray tan technician to set up. We have a have a pop up tent so we can avoid getting spray tan on your floors, walls and furniture. Large open areas are great and provide room for guests to move around and enjoy in the party while getting spray tanned! It would be very useful if you can provide an area with plenty of ventilation (an open window or door to outside is great). We do not carry out the treatment outside.
Spray Tan Party Themes
A party is all about fun with food and drinks so party themes can get everyone in the mood for a spray tan. Take into consideration the time of the year and who the party is for. For a bachelorette party, you can do pink boas and feathers, summer tanning; a Hawaiian theme, etc... Be creative!

- Keep your tan looking gorgeous for longer
- Apply Moisturiser or Body Butter daily.
- Exfoliate your skin every 2-3 days to ensure even fading.
- After showering pat the skin dry rather than rubbing.
- Avoid swimming pools as chlorine can bleach the tan.
